Corrosion protection

Fluoropolymeric coatings known by the trade mark Teflon® are characterized by a high temperature and chemicals resistance Fluoropolymeric coatings are inertial to nearly any substances. This makes them particularly suited as a protective coating against chemical attacls of your valuable components and systems.

The capability of being processed by thermoplastic methods permits high coating thicknesses and thus permits very good protection against corrosion and to agressive media attacking the material surface. These commonly non-porous coatings are also applicable to higher temperatures where other plastic materials have failed to be effective long before. These properties in combination with outstanding electric insulation open numerous application options in

  • mechanical systems and machine engineering
  • measurement technology
  • sewage systems, fittings, containers, pressure diaphragms, barrels, fittings, flanges, moulds, blades, tanks, thermometer protection tubing, valves, vulcanising moulds, rolls, cylinders etc.
