Anti-Adhesion effect

One of the most outstanding properties of fluoropolymeric coating is that Teflon^® cannot be wetted by most substances, thus exhibiting an extremely high anti-adhesion property. Combined with an extremely low slide-friction coefficient makes Teflon an inevitable component of resource-saving, quality-conscious production in many industrial branches.

Teflon coatings offer the capability to avoid contaminations, encrustations and material build-up on machines and system components in the different production stages of textile industry. The waxy and greasy surface of Teflon coatings does not offer any adhesiveness to sticky substances, so that these are virtually repelled. Without Teflon coatings, contact drying by drying cylinders, e.g. in a finishing machine, in the cylinder drier in textile finishing and in the production of non-woven fleece materials would be impossible.

In vaporisers, hot-flues, film printing machines, etc. Teflon^® coatings have the effect that dyestuff, finishes, adhesies, etc. do not build-up on the roll surfaces, at least the Teflon coatings permit an easy cleaning of polluted rolls and cylinders
